One Quiet Minute does not ask for your name, email address, or a profile. The breathing timer runs in your browser. If you decline analytics, the Google Analytics script is not loaded by this site.
What happens when you allow analytics
The site loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement IDG-ZWFNG85YFZ. It records page views and limited interaction events such as starting, completing, or resetting a breathing session; choosing a pace or duration; copying the embeddable-widget code; and switching sound on or off. Custom events also include the current page path and a broad traffic category such as direct, organic search, AI referral, or another referral, derived from campaign parameters or the referring website. It does not receive the content of a journal, health answer, or account because the site has none of those features.
Google may receive technical and usage information and set analytics cookies such as _ga. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the site’s configuration.
How your choice is remembered
The browser stores either granted or deniedunder one-quiet-minute-analytics-consent in local storage. This prevents the banner from asking on every visit. Clearing site data removes that saved choice.
You can change the choice at any time with “Analytics settings” in the footer. Switching analytics off disables future collection from this site and attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies for this domain.
Hosting and security data
Like nearly every public website, the hosting, network, and security services that deliver the site may process standard request data such as an IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. This is separate from the optional Google Analytics described above and may be needed to serve and protect the website.
Sound and the breathing timer
Optional tones are generated locally through your browser’s Web Audio features. The site does not access your microphone and does not record breathing, audio, or biometric information.
The embeddable timer
The compact timer at /embed/breathing-timer does not load this site’s Google Analytics consent interface or analytics script. A website that embeds it may have its own analytics or privacy practices outside the frame; those are controlled by that website, not One Quiet Minute.
